Healthy Futures' IOP
is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) especially for those struggling with an
eating disorder. It includes nutrition education, meal planning, group therapy,
family education and support, and DBT Skills Training. Nutrition, Individual and
Family therapies are also available.
Who:
Males and Females-adolescents and adults with anorexia, bulimia, compulsive
overeating.
Where: 9449 N. 90th Street #210 in
Scottsdale-off the 101 & Shea Blvd.
When: 2-4 days per week (M/W,
T/Th, M/T/W/Th)
Monday: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. (adults and adolescents)
Tuesday: 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (adults)
Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (adults)
Wednesday: 4:30 to 7 p.m. (adolescents)
Thursday: 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (adults)

permission to participate by the client’s physician* are required.
How much?:
Call for affordable current rates. We are contracted with Aetna, Cigna,
Magellan-AZ (single case agreement) and qualify as an out-of network provider for many other
insurance plans, such as Value Options and United Behavioral Health.
Why: For
many reasons including learning correct non-diet based nutrition information,
learning new skills to use instead of the eating disorder, getting support from
others who understand, and decreasing the eating disorder’s power.
What is Healthy
Futures?: We are a practice specializing in eating disorders, non-diet
weight management, and general counseling. All of our staff are Masters Level
professionals or above and all have had experience working in an eating disorder and/or
obesity program. We have a dietitian, psychologist, social worker, counselor, and exercise
specialist to help. We look forward to helping you have a healthy future!
*A medical permission slip can be faxed to the physician or
the client.
