Arrin
Larson BS, NSCA-CPT, CWC
Arrin believes fitness begins right now! She
understands physical and emotional factors can lead people to exercise or not.
She is devoted to assisting you in finding joy and satisfaction in movement and
in life. She will help you break through your barriers and take charge with a
plan you can live with!
Arrin is an exercise specialist and wellness coach. Her broad scope of practice
includes expertise in the areas of arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia,
chronic fatigue and other health related issues. With over 10 years of
experience she has helped thousands of individuals to experience physical and
mental transformation.
Arrin has been quoted in the Arizona Republic newspaper and her articles
have been published in several national bariatric journals including the Obesity
Action Coalition Journal. She is a regular contributor to a monthly
weight management newsletter. Her research has been published in the American
Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Journal. She presented this research
at the national ASMBS conference in 2006.
Karyn
Hendricksen, MS, was always involved in athletics as a child and young adult. Because
of her love of physical activity and the human body she pursued her bachelor's
degree in Movement Science from the University of Michigan in 1999. While
personal training and managing a private health club, she discovered her love
for helping individuals with physical challenges. She continued her education at
Arizona State University where she earned her master's degree in Exercise
Physiology in 2003. She is now the owner of One Stop Fitness, Inc., where she
helps individuals in a private setting achieve their fitness goals while
improving quality of life. She also travels to companies around the Valley
education employees on staying healthy by choosing an active lifestyle. Karyn
will pursue her certification as a Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist in
May 2006 to further help individuals with pain management.
